WP Content Slideshow shows up to 5 Posts in a very nice and powerfull Javascript Slideshow. On the left side of the Slideshow it displays a Image for every Post. On the right side, there are all the Titles (and a small description under the Title) of the Posts. The Slideshow highlights the active Post and repeats automatically after getting to the 5th Post.
You have a powerfull Administration Area to adjust the Category, the number of Posts, the width and height, and many colours for the Slideshow!

Navigation possibility (when hitting a Title the Image appears)
Image for every different Post
Powerfull Administration for Posts and Styles of the Slideshow
Javascript Effects between different Posts

== Installation ==

Upload /wp-content-slideshow/ to your Plugin directory (wp-content/plugins/)
Go to the ‘Plugins’ Page of your Administration Area and activate the Plugin.
Go to Settings/WP Content Slideshow and customize the Content Slideshow for your needs.
Place `` in your template.
Add Custom Field to your Post with Key “Featured” and Value should be direct link to the image like “http://www.google.de/logo.png” (without quotation marks).

Tomodachi Theme

Tomodachi is a very nice looking magazine theme from themelab. On the homepage, there are areas for the latest post and an author’s box – where images can be used through custom fields. There are two sidebars, both of which are widget-ready. Native Gravatar (WordPress 2.5+ only) and tagging support is also present within the theme.
The about box content is pulled from your “About” page. These are created automatically with WordPress, so it should look fine on a fresh installation. This box is only displayed on the homepage.
